We were able to transform the interior by implementing a total cosmetic overhaul and opening up stair railings to create a larger, less restrictive space. Lake Street was ambitious, but the returns reflected the sweat equity our team put in to make it a success. Built in 1908, this single-family home had endured years of neglect. We took it back to the studs and completed the transformation with all new finishes and top-end appliances. The brick from the original stack was left exposed in the kitchen to add character to the house. In the basement, we added a welcoming living space, and we converted the back office into a bathroom and mudroom complete with laundry. The exterior also received a face-lift with a new porch and roof, plus new siding and meticulous landscaping. Ultimately, the property sold at a significant profit for Allure Properties and our equity partners.
